Spaghetti with "Meatballs"

  • 8 ounces dried whole wheat pasta any style
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pkg Gardein classic meatless meatballs frozen
  • 4 handfuls spinach optional
  • 2 teaspoons salt


  1. Set a medium pot on to boil with salted water.

  2. Empty sauce into a large pot.  Add frozen meatballs and gently stir.  Heat on medium low until pasta is done, or at least 15 minutes.  Add optional spinach at this point if you are using it and let it wilt in the heat of the sauce.

  3. Prepare pasta according to package directions.

  4. Drain pasta and add to the pot with the sauce and meatballs.  Stir and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This recipe is a classic because it is quick and easy.  The photo does not show the optional spinach.
